INDUSTRY UPDATE: A DROP IN PLASTIC WASTE EXPORTS
In 2021 plastic waste exports dropped by 13%. 537,000 tonnes of waste plastic were exported in 2020 in comparison with 467,000 tonnes in 2021. Turkey, The Netherlands and Poland remain the top destinations for plastic waste exports from the UK.
